After graduating from college with a degree in theatre, Megan landed her first acting internship.  Requirements for interns included weekly yoga.  For Megan, the very first class was life changing!  She instantly immersed herself in the practice and received her 200-hour RYT Teacher Training through the Yoga Loft of Bethlehem in 2008.  She continues to study with several well-loved national teachers, including Seane Corn, with whom she completed a Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training and an additional Leadership Training programs, integrating yoga with activism.

Megan enjoys several different styles of yoga and is dedicated to making yoga accessible to all.  The alignment of Iyengar Yoga, the playfulness and flow of Vinyasa, and the peace of Restorative Yoga combine to make a truly special experience.  Above all, it is the connection to the breath that makes the practice transformative for the body and soul.

Yoga has the power to transform and inspire people to find true purpose in life and in 2009 Megan realized an important goal.  In 8 months she raised over $20,000 to support humanitarian projects in Uganda through the non-profit organization Off the Mat, Into the World.  In February of 2010, she traveled to Uganda for 3 weeks with the Off the Mat team to aid in the development of an eco birth center, seven room school and sustainable farms.  She continues her work in Uganda through an organization she co-founded called, "Sattva Uganda."

Megan teaches several public classes at studios around the Lehigh Valley, as well as private sessions out of her home in Bethlehem.  She is a co-teacher for the 200-hour In-Depth Yoga Study and Teacher Training Program at the Yoga Loft of Bethlehem and is currently continuing her own education under James Brown, working towards her 500-hour certification.
